Where are the featured fics/critiques going to go? Is there a forum I'm not seeing (I've been known to do that haha)?

Yeah, you are
Under general FCG, you can find the featured fics.
Hope that helped.
ETA: so I've realized you guys can't see it. I'm fixing.

Ha, it wasn't showing up on my computer. Which is weird because it was a few hours ago. O.o The mystery of the disappearing forums.
ETA: Cool.

Thanks Ms. Admin. Guess there's a few kinks to be worked out eh?

So I have a question...
Is anyone else having trouble with the automatic login? It only works for me like once in every dozen times I click on it. I log in about six or seven times a day and I'm always clicking the "log me in next time I visit" box but it doesn't work.
I have the settings so that a member can be logged in for 3 days if he/she wants. Like ff.net. So, just wondering if it's only a problem I'm having in which case I'll suck it up and ignore it. Or is everyone having the same trouble?

I can't really comment. I'm having trouble with auto log in on every site I visit; i's dang annoying, but good for security.
Are you enabling cookies form this site? Go check. I can rename them if you need to find theme easier.

I don't exaclty know how... haha. And yeah I can rename the cookies too.

BUT it doens't give me trouble every time. Once in a while I'll stay logged in for a few days.

Go to 'tools' > 'options' > 'security'
And you should find a bit about cookies.
Alternatively 'clear private data' then log into everything again... sort of clearing the system to see if it works.

I'm not having any trouble, but then again I have the FFCG Forum Index page on my "favourites" list, so I just click on that and it gets me there, already logged in, every time!

I have a question, and I guess this is the right place to ask it, however weird it may be!
I need to do some research for a fic, and what I need to know is - where can I look for fairly detailed information on how to make bombs, without the Anti Terrorist Squad breaking my door down at 3am!
Any ideas?

This is probably the most inconvenient suggestion ever, but see if you can find a book on it. You have a local library of some description? Because I'd imagine that there's a reasonably decent book on bobm making (or that at least includes it) around.
Other than that, you may even be able to find some on high school science websites. Maybe not quite as detailed as you need them, but the chemistry'd probably be there.
Is anyone on the FCG studying science at all? I may be able to help you a tiny bit with the chemistry, or at the very least as one of my teachers and report back.
Sorry, don't know about the specifics of each suggestion, but hopefully they're at least a little useful.

This is all I could find:
Forensic Explosives. The second book (out of three

) seems particularly helpful. Maybe you can find it in your library. It's from 1998, though, and maybe bombs have become more sophisticated since.
