I suppose it depends on what you'd define as "important". I mean, if it's important in the eyes of others, then hell yeah, I'll live to be 100.
I think that I'd like to live that long just because I'm fascinated by the world. It's not that I don't ever want to die, as such, I'm just sad about how much I'm going to miss when I do.
But I think that important things and a well-lived lives are very different things.
So I think, overall, I'd rather live to be 100, regardless. Unless a quarter of that's with dimentia, because no. I've seen that happen and no.
Would you rather go to a live concert of a band you don't really like, or listen to a band you absolutely love on CD/record/whatever at home?
(On top volume, of course).
