Hehe, I like happy cashiers. They're like happy bus drivers.

I catch the bus to school every morning, and if I have a happy bus driver, my day automatically improves. Same goes for cashiers. And cafe people.

Basically anyone I don't know but have semi-daily interaction with.

Seriously, I think cashiers are the greatest people in the world. Most people on the front lines of customer relations are awesome, really. Especially the super nice ones. It amazes me how they can be so optimistic when they deal with people who may be real jerks on any given day.

I'm pretty sure I would react to jerks by screaming incoherently at them. Until they left.

Or if they weren't jerks.

Or if they walked in the store.

Sorry, what was I saying?

Hehe, I have no clue what you're saying, but I'm not doing any better.

Yeah, my brother works as a cashier/whatever else he does, and he comes home just about every day complaining about crappy customers.

I think they're probably the most patient (superficially, at least) people ever.
