Hey guys, sorry I've been away for awhile. You know I have problems with my back, and I finally heard from the surgeon. I'm getting ready to have another back surgery next Thursday, so that's the reason I've been a bit distracted. I'll be home for awhile after I get out of the hospital, so I expect I'll be able to write and review.

Hey, Audrey. Glad to hear you've finally got your surgery scheduled - not glad that you've got to have it, obviously, but glad that... meh, you know what I mean!

Hey guys!! Long time no see, eh? And boy has it been a looooong time! I've had some troubles the last several months--haven't even been writing much, published nothing, and read very little, much to my displeasure--but things seem to be on the upswing lately, and I'm hoping they keep getting better.

I still don't have internet access at home yet (damn AT&T), and I just started a new job that takes up a lot of my time and energy, but I wanted to let you all know that I'm still here even though I've been very absent for far too long, and even though I won't be around a whole lot more just yet. But I missed you guys! And you know I can't stay away from this place--life has been so much less fun without my fanfic posse

Anyway, I may not be on the board that much for a few more weeks yet, but I will be back and I look forward to reading some new stuff. With a little luck, I may even have some new stuff to offer in return!

Hey guys! Well I'm home from the hospital. My back feels like... well, I'm sure you can guess. The surgery went well though and I'm going to stay with my parents for a few days to recover. Thanks for the well wishes!!

Thanks for the get well wishes! I'm feeling better, and I think I'm actually going to try to critique this week's feature. Of course, sitting at home alone does give one plenty of time to read and write.

Hi folks. Just popping in to say goodbye!

You may have noticed (or maybe not!) that I haven't been around much lately, and that's going to continue for a few more months. Life, work and family (not necessarily in that order) have taken over and need my full attention right now.

I feel really bad that I haven't been around, and that I haven't done any critiques or challenges or anything for weeks now, so - sorry for that. But I promise I will get back here as soon as I can, and start pulling my weight again, because I miss you guys!

So - goodbye for now, see you again, maybe around October, when I hope things will be back to some semblance of normality. (Yeah, I know - define "normal"!)
