Summary: New evidence causes the Cold Case squad to re-open an investigation into the 1981 murder of a police officer killed in a shootout shortly after the Philadelphia Eagles lost Super Bowl XV

AOB: Cold Case No pairings. I focus strictly on the story, and I feel Cold Case is at its best when the focus is on the victims and the people who knew them, not the investigators.

Personal: This is my first ever fiction writing story of any kind, so any type of feedback would be welcome. Also I'd like to know if the reader can fully comprehend my descriptions of some of the more complex scenes, such as the shootout in chapter 1. I'm a military veteran and a firearms enthusiast, so I tend to include a lot of detailed terminology about firearm use, calibers, and types. I'm a bit worried that people who are unfamiliar with firearms will have difficulty understanding what I'm describing. I'd also like to know if you think my music selections for the flashbacks match the scenes they are used for (all of the songs I included can be found on youtube).

Summary: The decomposed body of a woman is found in a field outside of Washington, D.C., and Agent Seeley Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan are called to investigate. Will this investigation reveal more than just the killer for these driven partners?

AOB: Bones Takes place somewhere before the end of last season. I'm using pretty much all of the characters, but have yet to find a use for Cam. But for now it's focused on the case, but will be Booth/Brennan eventually.
