Hello

Hello there.I am new to these forums and want a warm welcome. I hope my stay here will be an easy one. I want to get along with whomever I meet here online. I know maintaining good relations is serious enough to warrant staying. So I will tread lightly.

If there is anything I must know about this new place please tell me? Any sort of things that I have to know for myself when a member?

As for hobbies I am a serious a serious writer for science fiction. That is where I will probably be using up my time.

My english I must warn isn´t the best skill of english. I have to really think what I write when my ideas transfer to paper. So sometimes I have incoherent ideas, or the setence is choppy in flow.

Hello to all and I guess this is a new member for your forums. Please keep me up to speed on any rules that I might need to know first hand.

Hi there, Namesake! Welcome!

I'm sure others will make some suggestions when they welcome you, but for starters, I would suggest you take a look at the Newbie Tutorial section in the Forum index. If you look at the Questions and Answers bit too, you might find someone else has asked the question before! Anyway, both of these should tell you a lot of what you want to know. If you need to ask anything else, PM any of the Mods, or add your own question to the Questions and Answers section.

Just as a matter of interest, what is your first language?

Hope you have fun here. Good to have you with us.

Jude

Welcome Namesake! Glad to have you.

I only have one suggestion, and it's pretty imortant: Critique often. (It keeps LLK happy.)

I can't wait to see some of your peices, I love science fiction.
Why do writers write? Because it isn't there.

Yup, critiquing keeps not only the moderators happy, but the rest of us, too! I fear we've all been getting slack recently. Well, "slack" not the right word, maybe "otherwise occupied", but still.

It's always more fun if there are more critiques, both for the featured author, and everyone else.

Other than that, though, I think Jude pointed out all the important Newbie threads to go to.

But welcome along! New people are always welcomed with happy, open arms. Hope you like it here!

It's great to have you here. PM me if you have any questions.
And what of Henry, my Odysseus? Henry is an artist of another sort, a disappearing artist. Our life together in this too-small apartment is punctuated by Henry's small absences.

Hi, NameSake! I'm another newbie here, so I thought I'd drop by to tell you you're not alone. :)

Welcome, NameSake! :D
Dean: Talking to a messenger of God on a cell phone. It's kind of like watching a Hell's Angel riding a moped.
Castiel: This isn't funny, Dean. The voice says I'm almost out of minutes.
