Major crush on a school teacher?

No. Not major.

Have you ever kissed a member of the same sex?

(I haven't)

Yes. At the beginning of NaNoWriMo.

And yes, I kissed a girl and I liked it. :)

Yes, but nothing came of it.

Have you ever pulled a sickie to be with a sick sibling or friend?

(I have. My older brother.)

No. I'm a horrible liar. I could never get away with it.

Have you ever asked a friend for your crushes phone number and texted them randomly? ((For you older folk. Have you ever given your phone number to a hot stranger?))

No, and no. With the texting and the phone numbers.

1) I've never had a crush on someone I didn't know personally already,

2) Not really old enough to be giving out phone numbers (that and: living with parents, no social life, etc.), and

3) I never have any phone credit, anyway, so texting would be impossible.

4) Oh, and I think there's definitely something to be said for just talking to someone (otherwise it's borderline stalker, I think). Hehe.

Have you ever bought something off an infomercial?

Once. It was a long time ago... some super juicer slicer thing. It was actually really useful. But yeah I think I was only about 12 at the time.

For Delaney's question:
Never texted anyone that I wasn't already friends with. Yes, I do text the guy I "like" all the time.

Given a stranger a phone number? I did the other night actually... but then the guy I'm interested in called and I remembered that I wasn't exactly "single and looking."

Have you ever been caught singing to yourself? (Like while cleaning, showering, driving, etc?)

I'm always singing to myself. It's usually the song I'm obsessed with at the time. Today it's Misery Business by Paramore. 'Tis AMAZING!! =D

Have you ever done something totally out of character of yourself, and then looked back and said, "What in the name of all that is holy was I thinking?" (or something less edited along those lines) You may tell what that is, but you don't have to. =)

To answer my own question, yes. And trust me, you don't wanna know (nothing dirty, I promise).

My son keeps leaving his Paramore CDs in my car - I'm getting to quite like them, actually!

So to your question - yep! I once made a speech at a conference, and SOOOO wished I hadn't! It was just the longest walk back to my seat EVER!!

Have you ever followed someone you fancied in the hope that he/she'd notice you and at least smile, if not say hello?

And my answer's yes, a long, long time ago. Which brings me to Delaney's question - listen, babe, even some of us "oldies" know what texting is!! We're just not very good at it!

Not as such, followed. There've been, perhaps, sly glances to someone I just happen to be in the same vicinity as for extended periods of time...

That said, most people worth fancying are a fair bit older than me, so... Sometimes I'm very thankful I look older than I am. I don't just look like a sixteen-year-old ogling some hot guy.

Than again...

And yes to the singing. Oh, God, I do it all the time. I'm a hobby stage band singer, so it's hard not to.

Have you ever turned around and started talking to someone thinking they were your friend/parent/etc.?

Not me. I'm very very very reserved and I make sure I know who/what is around me at all times.

My brother has however. One time we were in the grocery store and he thought he saw our grandma (who we'd been shopping with but separated to make the shopping trip faster) in the checkout line. He just waltzed right up and wrapped his arms around her back to give her a hug.

It wasn't Mommom.

Have you ever left something behind and had to go back and get it? (In a classroom, work place, any place that would turn your cheeks red?)

Oh, yeah, I leave stuff places all the time. In classrooms, mostly. Because I spend most of my time in them, probably. My flute was especially leave-behind-able until I found a solution for that (left it in the music room).

I hate having to walk back into classrooms that are now full again and grabbing whatever it is. But then, it doesn't take much to make my cheeks redden. Not much at all.

Have you ever been nice to someone just to spite them? (Becuase they don't like you, or you them, etc.)

Yes! There is this girl at my school and, well, to be blunt, no one likes her. Especialy me. So I'll be nice to her in front of teachers until they walk away. Then I'm a total bit** to her.

She started the fight! Not me!

Have you ever blown off a huge assignment to chill out infront of a really good T.V marathon?

Not a marathon, because free-to-air TV here is so pathetic, they don't HAVE them, but yeah. I blow off assignments all the time (especially if there's somthing cool on TV). I do them all the night before they're due.

Which is a habit I might have to change this year, because things actually MATTER. Unlike high school, years 11 and 12 matter, unfortunately. What a pity...

Have you ever misread an invitation and shown up a week early for something?

A day early... yes. Not a week.

As for the blown off an assignment for TV thing, no. BUT I have stopped in the middle of a paper/project to watch CSI for an hour before going back to it.

The "been nice to someone in spite of them" thing. I've done that too. My former best friend spent an entire year trying to turn our mutual friends against me. The funny part is that nobody told me! So I didn't have a clue that she and I weren't even friends anymore until one day it just "came out" when I was talking to our mutual friend Liz.

Well... this was the start of a summer. At the end of the summer my former best friend, Amy, was at orientation at my school. I was there too because my roommate was going to orientation and asked me to tag along to keep her company.

Amy tried to sit with us at orientation when she saw us. But Brittney (who had just become aware of Amy's tricks when I did) and I skirted past her and sat where she wouldn't be able to find a seat next to us. After orientation though Amy was all lost and confused and could figure out where the building she needed to be in was. And I was walking Brittney through her schedule so I offered to show Amy to her building because we were headed that way too.

Apparently it amazed her that I'm that nice. I am that nice. But whatever. So... she's been nice to me every day since.

Have you ever felt very angry at your employer/authority figure for overlooking you for a promotion/honor that you thoguht you deserved?

In high school I was in Play Rehearsal for about ten hours a day and was overlooked for the "Technician of the Year" award given by my school's International Thesbian Society. I wasn't even considered for the honor. I had personally thought that I was the only viable contendor. Since I was SM and TD for every show we produced my junior and senior years. Yeah... still bitter about that one. The guy who beat me out hadn't done any technical work since our sophomore year. *nods* still bitter.
