One of my friends has been wanting to read it for ages. I think I'll steal it from her when she's done. Though, it may have to be done the other way around, hehe.

Ahh, Queer as Folk. Thanks LLK, now I can quit trying to figure it out. Wait a second, wasn't Dexter in that series. What's his name, damn! I hate it when this happens. I'm having a senior moment and I'm not even a senior.

That's right he was in Six Feet Under. I love Michael C. Hall.

Dexter Rocks!

Hehe, I watched the last few episodes that were shown here a few weeks ago (a season just ended, and it was probably the one before whatever you've seen latest) with my brother, and it's quite good.

And I know this is a weird complaint, but the colour annoyed me. It was too bright, I think. I know it's in Miami, and all, but it turned me off a little.

Giorgia - your sig always makes me smile! When my little boy was very little, he had such a cute smiley face that we always called him Sunshine!

(Now he's just a moody teenager who usually ignores us whatever we call him! )

Aw, you called your son that? My family was never much one for personalised nicknames. As in, mum calls us all 'Cedric', or 'Tweedledee, Tweedledum and Tweedledummer'.

I just loved the line, though, becuase if you know the characters, it's really quite meaningful. But as you've shown, it's meaningful nonetheless.

See what I mean?
Actually, he looks a bit weird unless you click on the picture and see it properly!

Aw, he looks so happy! But in a strangely mature way. How old is he, here? Around three? I don't know what it is, but he smiles like he's a lot older than he is. Haha. That's a eird thing to say, but usually little kids are just toothy-grin/hysterical laughter, but he's smiling.

I can see why you called him Sunshine. Hehe. My brothers were both like that, but they both had, like, golden locks. Pale blonde ringlets. Actually, my older brother still does... his hair's past his shoulders, now, haha.

You're spot on, Giorgia, he was almost three in the pic, and he's always been way too mature for his age (until now of course - moody, longhaired, teenager, grunting, etc, etc, etc!)

When he was little, he had long gold ringlets too until he was about a year and a half. He looked so cute - until big brother (aged 4) got hold of a pair of scissors and they decided to play hairdressers! When the REAL hairdresser had finished laughing hysterically, my baby had a "number one" crew cut to repair the damage!

Don't you just love kids?

Haha. It's interesting, actually. Both my brothers with their gold ringlets (one older, one younger), but I've got really straight, brown hair. Well, it's straight when it dries, anyway. same with the eye colour. Both have bright blue eyes, mine are brown. Weird.

but on the bright side, I suppose teenagers grow out of being teenagers. Especially boys! I say that hopefully, because some of the people I go to school with? Haha. But I can sympathise witht eh grunting. I get up in the morning, I grunt till after I've had a shower and am fully dressed. Sometimes not till I've had a coffee or two.

People just ask silly questions in the morning. "Have you got your lunch?"; "Are you awake?"; "Will you be home at four?". Haha. Usually a grunt just suffices. Haha.

But you must mourn the loss of the ringlets. I know my mum misses my hair, which is silly, because it's like, exactly the same, but hey. Parental Nostalgia Memory Distortion, I think. Hehe.

He's so adorable! :) Sunshine indeed! I simply had to rate the image, which is something I never do. It's so hard to imagine him as a moody teenager, but I believe you. As Giorgia said, teenagers grow out of being teenagers, so hang in there. :)

On a side note, my sister (3 year old at the time) had a "number one" crew cut, too. She'd made the damage herself, though. For a while people weren't sure if she was a boy or a girl. And she started going to daycare with that hairstyle. ;)

Tehe. That's a cool quote, Lily. Actually, I think I'll quite miss being a teenager (though I've got like three years). I'm rather enjoying myself. Hehe. Don't have to worry about so much, except I wish I could vote, already. But I think the next Federal elections in Australia and the US will be after I've turned 18, so I'll be able to vote in both.

Score...

Thanks. :D I completely agree with it (my signature, that is). Ooh, I forgot to comment on your signature last time. It's such a beautiful thing to say to someone. I always beam when someone (though it's usually my dentist's nurse ;)) tells me I have a pretty smile. I had to google the quote to know where it's from, though. :D I'm afraid I didn't really watch Queer as Folk...

I sometimes miss being a teenager, too. Being able to vote is nice, though.

Hehe, I'm the girl who blushes uncontrollably and stares at her feet until the subject's changed. Haha. FUnny, because I'm not really a shy person, but hey.

I discovered it through one of my late-night TV-trawls a few years ago. I'd seen a tiny bit before that, but I'd only ever watched like, the last two episodes of the series, and I was 14, maybe? 15, at the oldest. But I discovered it again about half way through them playing the reruns last year. There's just something so addictive about it. It's a soap opera that deals with real themes, and well. Plus, one can never get enough of the characters.

I'm a dual citizen of here and the US, as are my brothers and my dad, but neither my older brother (who was 18, at the time) nor my dad voted in the last American election. I wanted to hit them. But in Australia, voting is compulsory. In every election (local, state, federal). So it isn't like voting is such a novelty, but some of my State politicians are totally useles. Haha, the last State government got basically disbanded due to corruption.

Sometimes I think that compulsory voting is probably not the best way to go...

But enough of me, I'm ranting again. I'm sorry. And I haven't even had a coffee yet. Uh oh. I'm in for it today. But I suppose I'm subconsciously procrastinating. I've got homework coming out my ears.
